Madly in Love

May is an insane month when you have a kiddo with end of school projects, recitals, performances, field trips, and the list goes on and on.

Add to that, Diva's birthday is early June and we always throw some sort of wacky party for her.

Plus I was the Teacher Appreciation coordinator for Diva's school.

And we were living in two houses in two states - moving out of one and into the other.

All the while feeling emotional about leaving friends and family here.

Oh, and let's not forget packing for and coordinating a trip abroad.

Let's just say the level of crazy I was experiencing and thus forcing my peeps to experience, was beyond anything I had ever imagined.

Engineer being the ever stable one in this union was a Godsend.

He did everything I asked him to do without complaint (even when he thought it was a cockamamie idea.)
He helped and calmed and encouraged
He gave me lots and lots of grace.  Oh that sweet grace.

1-4-3 EM and thank you for being my steady rock on which to stand.  My sturdy tree on which to lean.  My soft place to land...oh, and for putting up with me when I don't hide my crazy.

    1. We are back now from our trip and although boxes are stacked high and deep in the new house, there is much less craziness and much more calm now. :)
