Menu Plan

We are still in an adjustment period trying to navigate activities old and new as well as practicing/homework, and the all important downtime.

Our weekend has been a blissful one so far with NOTHING on our calendar.  Since that is such a rare occurrence, we have relished it.  Just puttering around the house and generally exerting as little energy as possible.  The word lazy may come to mind, but I prefer restful.  :)

We had 3/5 of the Operinos over for a very casual supper on Sunday night.  Operina and Anthony (read his story here and a little more here and about the COTA campaign which thanks to you and many others surpassed its goal in record time!) are at Children's hospital where they have been running tests.  Please pray for Anthony, his doctors, and his family as they wait for results.

Anthony's sister, Diva's best friend, spent the night after dinner.  I have yet to see the girls emerge this morning.

Here's what we'll be eating:

Sunday - Sausage & Potatoes w/Peppers, Salad, & Lemon Trifle
Monday - Lasagna & Salad
Tuesday - Salad Night w/Pasta, Green, Fruit, and Potato Salad
Wednesday - Date Night
Thursday - Honey Glazed Pork Chops, Squash Casserole, Green Beans
Friday - Leftovers
Saturday - Celebrate Engineer's birthday!

This is part of Menu Plan Monday.

  1. It's been very humid this weekend. Yuck. I'm just going to stay in, watch some QVC and catch up on housework.
    Everything sounds so delicious.
I hope you had a wonderful Labor Day weekend. And Happy Birthday to the Engineer.
