Madly In Love

My Engineer.  My straight-laced, numbers loving, non-fiction reading, only-the-facts, no nonsense Engineer dressed up for Halloween.

Let me rephrase that:  He volunteered to dress up for a Halloween party (as in other people we know would be there) and followed through.  He is a man of his word after all.

Remember that turkey costume I got not too long ago?  It was about to make it's public debut.

Diva was a bunch of grapes.
Engineer, Diva, a couple of her friends, and I attended a party Saturday night and even though there were other dads there (not in costume I might add) Engineer proudly strutted his stuff(ing*) on the dance floor.

He said that was his turkey face.
There were way too many iPhones and cameras about that night.  I'm sure that we are going to end up on Instagram or YouTube.

I am madly in love with my Engineer for being silly when it counts and madly in love with our Diva who still thinks her parents are cool because we are silly.

1-4-3 EM & DM!

*Sorry about the bad turkey and stuffing comment but I couldn't help myself.

  1. Your costume was the perfect compliment to his! Much better than the ideas you shared Saturday morning with me :-)
