The Many Uses of Ivory Soap

I recently received the Mom Vox Box from Influenster and in it, was a little ol' bar of Ivory soap.

We only use two kinds of soap here at the Little Pink House:  homemade lye soap and Ivory soap.

I have written before about how I make hand soap with bars of Ivory soap or even laundry detergent with bars of Ivory.

But I would like to tell you a couple other things about Ivory soap.

One, is that it takes me back to my childhood.  With that white floating bar of soap, you never lost it in the bath water.

Two, that Ivory is such a good value.  Usually there is a coupon for the product and often it goes on sale $.99 for 2-3 bar pack.

Here are the stats:

  • Free of dyes and heavy perfumes
  • Ivory bar soap is 99.44% pure (that's why it floats)

  • I received a bar of Ivory to review from Infuenster.  All opinions and affinity for floating soap are my own.
