Menu Ideas From the Brookshire's Ad


A meal plan is a great way to save money and not waste food.

I want to show you that as long as you are intentional in your shopping and cooking, you will save money on your grocery bill regardless if you use coupons or not. Generally, the cost of the whole meal will be less than or equal to the tip you would leave at a restaurant.

These ideas are taken directly from the Brookshire's circulars.

This week is a great week to stock up on meat.

Pork Tenderloin, Mac & Cheese, Broccoli
Use:  Hormel Peppercorn Tenderloin, Country Crock Side Dish, Food Club Frozen Broccoli x 2

Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Fries, Mushroom & Tomato Salad

That's 20 meals for $114.40 or $5.72 per meal or $1.43 per person per meal!
There were so few coupons available for these items that it was a negligible difference.
