Diva receiving the Faculty Award for Writing
Ehrmagersh!  I have a high schooler in my house!!!!  Engineer insists that she is not a highschooler until fall but I think he may be in denial.

Diva finished out the year with 9 awards including Faculty Awards given to students that showed outstanding performance, Founder's Awards for maintaining the highest average in the class, Headmaster's Awards for maintaining an average over 95 in a particular class all year, All A's Honor Roll, and perfect attendance.  We were very proud.

On the last day of school, the Book Club (nicknamed C.A.M.P.  P.O.R.C. which stands for something but I have been sworn to secrecy what it is) had a pizza and swimming party.  Afterwards, the girls came back to our house for a sleepover.

Engineer and I celebrated our neighbor friend Holly's last day of work that same night with her and her husband along with all of the extra kiddos that were in our house by having a smorgasbord of Chinese food.

The book club weekend continued on past the sleepover when the guys met up with us at a frozen yogurt place on Saturday.  We then trundled over to the movie theatre and watched "Tomorrowland" since that was this month's suggested reading.  All I will say about the movie is that we were disappointed...and that's the nicest thing I can say about it.

This week we will be eating:

Sunday - Leftovers
Monday - Chick-fil-A
Tuesday - Brisket, Rice, Marinated Mushrooms, Cooked Carrots, & Salad
Wednesday - Ribs, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw,  Baked Beans, & Garlic Bread
Thursday - Mussels over Pasta Aglio e Olio and Salad
Friday - Catfish Dinner w/Family
Saturday - Leftovers

This is part of MPM.

  3. Sounds yummy! And I was telling my Pre-K4 kids as they left class today for the last time that, "Guess what?!?! You're a kindergartener now!"
