Whoosh!
That's what today has felt like.

This morning I started out with a fairly manageable to do list that grew throughout the day into a ravenous monster needing evermore inky notes scribbled across its face to appease the beast.

Seriously, every time I crossed off one line item, three more took its place.  Ridiculous!

I am just now sitting down to write this blog post that was on my early morning section on the list...I digress...

Last Sunday we said goodbye to my in-laws who had come up from the New Orleans area for a visit then headed over to Marshall to celebrate my little, um, excuse me, younger brother's birthday.  Diva spent the night with my parents that night.  We try to get in as much Daddy-dad and Nan time as we can since Diva went from seeing them nearly every day to seeing them once every couple of weeks or so.

The rest of the week carried on at a very pleasant pace, and I was thankful for it by the time Saturday rolled around.

Saturday was full on.  I went to brunch with my Marshall girlfriends and took my Bossier friend Holly with me.  From there, Engineer and Diva picked me up and we headed to lunch with some friends in Hallsville.  We left our sweet friends to take Diva back to Marshall to spend the night with one of her buddies and attend a dance at her old school.  It was Diva's first school dance ever.  She had a blast and woke up sore the next day from dancing all night long.
I remember those days...they were good'ns.

This week we will be eating:

Sunday - Leftovers
Monday - Sausage, Peppers, & Grits Casserole w/Salad
Tuesday - Crab Stuffed Catfish w/Rice & Mixed Veggies
Wednesday - Dinner w/Friends
Thursday - Red Beans & Rice w/Cornbread and Salad
Friday - Lasagna & Salad
Saturday - Leftovers

This is part of MPM.
