Despite the nasty weather on Sunday, Engineer had to take a quick business trip up to Arkansas to take some field measurements.  Diva and I stayed home in our PJs all day pootling about and catching up on some chores.

I'm so glad we caught up since by Monday, I was feeling terrible which derailed all of my day's intentions.  A stomach virus will do that to you y'know.  Fortunately, I was sequestered away in our bedroom and no one else got what I had.

By Tuesday most things were back to normal.

I had never been to a Pilates nor a yoga class until Wednesday.  I attended a "PiYo" class which mixed a little of both disciplines.  I really, really enjoyed it.  More than I thought I would.
I felt good afterwards...now the next morning, I started to feel the results of my efforts.  What was interesting was that only my muscles were sore and not my joints which is usually what happens after other work-outs.  I only wish they had more PiYo classes during the week.

The annual State of the School Address was Thursday for Diva's school.  They just let everyone know what has been, is, and will be happening this year.

Diva's book club meeting was postponed which left us available to receive overnight guests.  Stephen's Dad & Step-mom came up from the New Orleans area to visit family for a couple of days.  It's always lovely to see them.

Happy birthday today to my little brother!

  1. Lemon peppered trout sounds good. We had trout for dinner last week but my husband fried it. I need to find some different recipes to use up what we have left in our freezer from our summer fishing trip.
