Madly in Love

I brought home an antique iron headboard and footboard the other day that I had bought at an estate sale.

While Engineer was talking to me about what he needed to complete the project (button pin rails) and how he could work around not having them with some angles, a welder, and a few other run-of-the-mill (not) items like a drill press.

Honestly, pretty much everything after "button pin rails" sounded like he was speaking a foreign language but at some point, I must have made it known that I had no idea what a drill press was.

The next evening, we were watching a drama on TV and in a serious moment on the show he said, "There's a drill press."

Sure enough, in the background of the scene, there was a drill punch.

I burst into a fit of laughter.

Who else would watch a TV show and see specialty steel fabrication equipment?!

1-4-3 EM because you see things I don't.
