Menu Plan

As promised last week, this week was less busy but equally exciting.

The whole week led up to us signing the papers on our new house then spending the weekend unpacking round one of the boxes and doing the inevitable little things one does when moving into a new house.

This week we have a few more things on the docket in addition to trickling over boxes of stuff that we don't use every day...and there is lots of stuff we don't use every day.

I have a feeling that the crock pot is going to be my best friend for dinner for the upcoming months.

With that in mind, we will be eating:

Sunday - Pizza w/the youth group
Monday - Nicoise Salad
Tuesday - Chili & Cornbread
Wednesday - Everyone will be in different directions so YOYO (your on your own)
Thursday - Slow Cooker Gumbo
Friday - Date Night
Saturday - Leftovers

This is part of MPM.

  2. I'm so glad to see someone else does leftovers too! We do those here at my house every week -- I feel wasting isn't saving, but also sometimes it can be fun to do leftovers.

    1. Absolutely we do leftovers. My husband and daughter take leftovers in their lunches and whatever is truly leftover is consumed on the weekends. Nothing gets wasted. :)

  4. I love my crock pot. It's a lifesaver so often when we're busy, especially when we're working opposite shifts. Hope the packing/unpacking goes well!

  5. Nicoise salad, haven't had that in forever, putting it on the menu soon...but not Thursday, that seems to be our YOYO night every week!

    1. I got into Nicoise salads when we lived abroad and they have just sort of stuck with me. :)
