Millionaire Shortbread

"I have always liked shortbread, but never did I have such a love affair with the crumbly cookie until we lived in the UK.

Shortbread was a very common biscuit offering when having coffee with friends but millionaire shortbread, sweet Mother of Pearl, millionaire shortbread was something altogether different.  It was, and is, special.

Millionaire shortbread layers the buttery biscuit with sweet caramel and rich chocolate.  Think of a Twix, but with a pedigree."

Tempted yet?  My recipe for Millionaire Shortbread is posted over at Texas Women Bloggers.

Y'all come on over and see what the fuss is about!

    1. Me too Ms. Ronda! I get pulling recipes for savory shortbread and interesting flavors like lavender shortbread. Maybe I need to have a bunch of girlfriends over one day and we will have a shortbread party. :)

I chose these treats to feature this week at See Ya in the Gumbo. Nothing like homemade twix...especially when it looks this fancy!
