Menu Plan

I'm so excited to be a pin-up girl featured blogger at Texas Women Bloggers where I will be posting every Monday in February.

Last week was a relatively quiet one.

Last Sunday Engineer taught another Dave Ramsey "Generation Change" class to our youth group at church then left early the next morning for a business trip to Alabama.  Yes, his way home was smack in the middle of the dangerous ice that halted traffic all across the south.  He said it was by God's grace that they made it home since he felt like he was driving a Zamboni.

Diva and I attended a Youth Council meeting to map out the rest of the year and I had a Symphony League meeting.

The most exciting thing we did all week was go look at a prospective school for Diva.  Her current school only goes through the 8th grade so we are looking at possibilities for high school.  Engineer and I were very impressed with the staff, the atmosphere, and the facilities...but this is only the first school we have looked into.

Saturday had nothing on the calendar yet we stayed busy all. day. long.  From cleaning house, to bottling peach wine, to cleaning out the garage, to cleaning out the deep freeze, and everything in between, the day was incredibly busy and although we didn't make it to the gym, we definitely felt like we had quite the work-out.

And now it's Monday again...
And our menu is distinctly NOT Paleo friendly...
And that's down to the recent massive deep freeze clean-out...

Here's what we will be eating this week:

Sunday - Super Bowl Party Food w/Friends
Monday - Enchiladas, Shoe Peg Corn Salad, & Refried Beans
Tuesday - Ricotta Frittata (that's just fun to say) Squash Casserole, and Salad
Wednesday - Leftovers
Thursday - Venison Pot Pie & Salad
Friday - Date Night
Saturday - Fried Turkey, Green Bean Casserole, and Roasted Pumpkin & Onions

This is part of MPM.
