Menu Ideas from the Brookshire's Ad

A meal plan is a great way to save money and not waste food.

I want to show you that as long as you are intentional in your shopping and cooking, you will save money on your grocery bill regardless if you use coupons or not.

Generally, the cost of the whole meal will be less than or equal to the tip you would leave at a restaurant.

These ideas are taken directly from the Brookshire's circulars and using Brookshire's Match-ups.

This week you could make:

  • Lasagna & Salad
  • Chicken Fricassee, Rice, & Green Beans
  • Corny Dogs, Fries, & Plums
  • Turkey Tacos, Beans, & Rice
  • Red Beans & Rice and Cabbage & Sausage
  • Beanie Wienies & Applesauce
  • Pizza & Orange Segments
  • Sausage Biscuits, Yogurt, & Fruit Cups
  • Coffee Crusted Steak Sandwiches, Roasted Tomatoes, & Salad
  • Chicken Nuggets, Tater Tots, & Pineapple Slices

  1. WOW! That is a LOT of food for the money. I hate going to the grocery store for a bag or two of goods, paying $100, and having nothing to eat.

    1. Exactly right Ms. Lynda! That's why menu planning is such a great time and money saver. :) Thanks for stopping by!
