Madly In Love

I thought I was pretty sullen when Diva was gone but I don't hold a candle to our Schnauzer.
Fraulein Greta von Schnitzel (Greta for short) is really mopey when Diva is gone.
Engineer has come home more than once to find Greta and I curled up on the couch with a Snuggie.  Kind of pathetic really.

Here's the thing, Diva is not a loud child so the noise level isn't that different but she is a vibrant child who lights up a room.

Look at the abandon with which she laughs!
I am blessed to get to see that everyday.

When Diva's gone there's a little less dancing.
A little less singing.
A little less light.
A little less joy.

But today, Greta and I are a couple of sad sacks no more because Diva's home...until next summer.
