Perfectly Practical #160 - Measuring Tool

My good friend Do It Yourself Mom is always good for a practical tip or two.

We were sitting there in our knitting group and she needed to measure her project but no one had a tape measure with them - so she improvised.

She pulled out a dollar bill.

Diva asked her what she was doing and that's when DIY Mom told us that a dollar bill is about six inches long so whenever one is out and about and needs to measure something, one can always pull out a dollar bill and measure in 6" increments.

This is part of Works for Me.
