Madly In Love

Diva and I were watching "Ever After" and in a particularly gushy part she sighed.

Not a yawny sigh nor a bored sigh nor a sad sigh, but a wonderfully delicious deeply romantic I-can-hardly-wait-to-meet-my-true-love-and-live-happily-ever-after sigh.

The child has seen this movie a thousand times, give or take a time or two, yet still finds those great professions of love so moving that she audibly approves of them.

Diva measures life in once upon a times and happily ever afters.

I hope she never stops measuring life that way and feel fairly confident that she won't.
After all, her Daddy and I haven't.

1-4-3 Diva - you are a very important part of our fairy tale.

    1. I'm not sure what it is exactly that resonates so much with her. But as I'm pretty sure there is only one questionable word in the whole thing, and no, ahem, bedroomy type scenes, I am happy for it to be one of her favorites. :)
