Madly In Love

It started out as a request from me to get a rose bush and a reluctant Engineer planting it in the ground.

That was six rose bushes and two new flower beds ago.  :)

Every year we add one to the collection and what was once a present for me has become Engineer's pride and joy.

This little guy likes to mix it up a bit by throwing out
a pink bloom amongst the white ones now and again.
Each year he tries to improve upon the previous year's performance in both foliage and bloom.

This year I think he has done a particularly good job with both.

Every time I leave or come back to my house, I am greeted with a beautiful and fragrant display and it makes me very happy.

Thank you Engineer for taking such good care of our roses.
And, if you are taking requests yet, I think I'd like a bright orange, a bright yellow, and/or maybe a black rose next.  :)

1-4-3 EM!

  1. Those are beautiful! I would love to have such beautiful rose bushes! :-)

    1. Thanks! Engineer works very hard to make sure they look nice. :)

  2. I love them!!! If we end up settling around this area you better believe I'm getting oodles of rose bushes! :)

    1. It's kind of the law there in Tyler - the Rose Capital of the World. ;)
