Menu 2013 - Week 10

Engineer and I attended a wedding in Dallas over the weekend.  I've said it before and I'll say it again - we love weddings.  That clean slate and fresh start down a life path where two lanes become one.

We are so sappy.

The morning of the wedding, the groom (who is Engineer's best friend from childhood), his Dad, and I went to an outdoor car show on the blooming coldest windiest day ever!  Oh the things we do for our other half.

While there, we found out some other friends happened to be in the Big D so we had lunch with our friends and the newlyweds before heading home.

On our way to the wedding, we found out that Engineer's Granny passed away.  That was a bittersweet way to start the weekend since she had been battling with Alzheimer's for a while and ever since his Granddad had passed away, she had missed him terribly.  We know she's in a better place but it is always sad for those of us left behind.

This week is full of plans and I bet my menu plan gets left by the wayside, but if I don't have a plan at all, I'll go loco, so it's better for me to have a sketchy plan than no plan at all.

Here's the sketchy plan:

Sunday - Dinner with Parents
Monday - Fundraising Dinner
Tuesday - Fundraising Dinner
Wednesday - Frittata & Greens
Thursday - Veggie Burgers and Roasted Vegetables
Friday - Whatever we cook in our French cooking class  :)
Saturday - Leftovers

This is part of Menu Plan Monday.
