Menu 2013 - Week 4

See those frosty pine cones in the picture above?  Yep, that's what we woke up to one day this week.  Well, sort of.  We didn't have snow but we had frost, grey skies, and icicles so that's close enough in my book.

It was that great sort of weather that you could look outside and see the little brightly colored birds at the feeders that really stood out against the gloomy landscape.  That kind of weather that makes you want to curl up with a mug of something soothing and hot and a good book or your latest knitting project.

Of course I did say, we had that one day.  Since then it has been sunny.  :)

Meetings, meetings, and more meetings for me, Diva was in a spelling bee, Engineer had Trivial Pursuit night with the guys this week.  Saturday the girls came over for brunch while Engineer and Diva went to visit my in-laws then some friends came over for supper that night.  Lots of fun.

Here's what we will be eating this week:

Sunday - Leftovers
Monday - Chicken Satay, Brown Rice, & Spicy Thai Salad
Tuesday - Potato & Rosemary Soup w/Roasted Tomato Salad
Wednesday - Ham, Fries, and Green Bean Casserole
Thursday - Black Olive & Caper Pizza w/Goat Cheese and Baby Spinach Salad
Friday - Date Night
Saturday - Leftovers

This is part of Menu Plan Monday.

  1. Looks great! Do you have a recipe for the chicken satay and spicy Thai salad? I love Thai food.
