NYC New York Color IndividualEyes Custom Compact

That, my friends, is a picture of a N.Y.C. brand IndividualEyes Custom Compact.  It is intended for someone to create a "smokey eye" effect.

How often do you think this only-wears-make-up-on-stage-or-very-special-occasions gal fared with this compact?

Let's see...

Hmmm...maybe not the best picture of the eye shadow.  But hey, who ever thought I would have smokey eyes?!

Here are thoughts from my highly inexperienced perspective:

  • Easy to use - There were instructions along with diagrams on the packaging - brilliant!
  • Lightweight - did not feel heavy (I'm not a fan of stuff on/around my eyes)
  • Long-lasting - I forgot to wash it off and it was still on the next morning
  • Light - I realize that some people would prefer a much darker pigment but for me, I liked that the color was not overwhelming
It had a primer in the compact which I did not find greasy at all and my eye shadow did not crease because of it.  There was also an illuminator in the compact but I'm not sure I used it correctly.

N.Y.C. puts coupons out relatively often and their products go on sale fairly frequently which makes the make-up very reasonably priced.

I never thought I would create a smokey eye but it wasn't that difficult thanks to the instructions and the colors all laid out in one compact.

I was sent this product to review.  Thanks Infuenster for the chance to sample and review this product.  All opinions and inexperience with make-up are my own.
