Menu Plan - Pantry Challenge Week 37

Last week was a weird, wacky, and wonderful week full of one-off excitement.

Sunday started us off with having friends over to review a TV series.  Although the series wasn't our cup of tea, visiting with our friends certainly was.

Labor Day was spent with more friends hanging out by their pool.  Such a beautiful and relaxing day.

Tuesday everyone was back to the grind.  Diva's voice lessons started back up and she has added knitting tutelage to her schedule.  After three times of ever even touching knitting needles, she is already far better than I am.

Wednesday Diva got her braces off!  That was very exciting and because the appointments were so close together, we had to be in another town all day.  She missed school and piano lessons but I think she felt is was worth it to be able to run her tongue across her teeth and feel nothing but a smooth surface.

Thursday we went to an estate sale in one of the most grand Victorian houses in town.  It was my dream home.  I tried to soak up as much detail as possible so that I could relay it to Engineer.  This house was full of local history and it was sad to me (as it always is) when I see old family portraits for sale.  Of course, I made myself feel better with a couple of hats.

Diva's guitar lessons started back up and we celebrated Engineer's birthday with my parents on Friday while Diva was at a friend's birthday party.

We went to a funeral, Diva had a friend over all day, and I went to a garage sale on Saturday.

Sunday has the the normal Sunday School/Church morning then Engineer had a Diaconate meeting, Diva had the first Jr. Daughter's of the King meeting of the new school year, Engineer and I went to a shower, left early from there and went to the Dave Ramsey class, picked up Diva and went back to the shower to help clean up.  That night, we all collapsed.  :)

Did you have a good week?

Here's what we will be having for supper this week:

Sunday - Leftovers from a Shower

Tuesday - Pasta & Salad
Wednesday - Pork Chops, Roasted Potatoes & Butternut Squash, Green Bean Casserole, and Salad
Thursday - Leftovers

This is part of Menu Plan Monday.
