What's Cooking?

My brunch ladies know that not only will they be indulged with cheesecake and lots of coffee, I always send them home with a little something.  Is that a Southern thing?  Sending your guests home with favors?  Anyone?

In the span of about a week, I had seen this lotion mixture recipe on Pinterest and had a friend talk about a similar mix that her friend makes.  It must have been in the stars for me to try it out.

Lest you think that only my food recipes get fiddled with, here is proof positive that I have a no discrimination policy on recipes.

I really like this mixture and only wish I would have used a different baby lotion scent.  It wasn't offensive, I just prefer an unscented or naturally scented lotion.

Because of the petroleum jelly involved, this lotion is a bit greasy luxurious so consider yourself forewarned; use just a little to start.

This would also make a great Mother's Day present.

Super Lotion Potion

2 small bottles Baby Lotion
1/2 big tub of Petroleum Jelly
25 Vitamin E soft gels, ends snipped and liquid squirted out
1 small bottle Vitamin Enriched Lotion
20 drops or so of Lavender Essential Oil

Dump everything in a bowl.  Mix with a hand mixer until well blended.  Go so far as making it whippy.  Put into jars and enjoy.
