Who Let the Dawgs Out?

A little while ago I was given the opportunity to choose a pair of Dawgs shoes to review, and who am I to turn down a free pair of shoes a chance to give my opinion an opportunity.

I chose their Spirit Toners since if I am walking around anyway, I might as well get the most from my walking. It's working smarter not harder. Efficient. That's what I am.

From the very first time I wore these shoes, people have commented on them: Where did you get them? Those are so cute! Are they the shapey-uppy kind?

Each time I tell them about my shoes I say the term "Dawgs" and they have no idea what I am talking about. I know, I know. We were all in the dark about this cool alternative to another brand of lightweight rubber shoes at one time, but it is my duty to bring you into the light.

Can I just say, that I. Love. These. Shoes.

They are super lightweight and kind of form around your foot. The insoles have little bumps that act like a foot massager when you walk. Some rubbery shoes can rub against your feet and make it uncomfortable to walk, but not these. One really interesting tidbit, I wore these without socks on our two cold days this winter and not once were my feet cold even though they have holes in them for air flow. Oh and another thing, I feel tall in them. Like really tall, like a statuesque 5'2 1/2" tall.

To put them to the test, I wore them while cooking at church for 7 hours. Not only was I inundated by the folks there with questions about these newfangled shoes I was wearing, but at the end of the day my feet never felt like I had been running around all day non-stop. That's pretty impressive.

The one downside is that because of the aforementioned holes in the shoes, if you are cooking and happen to crack an egg which drips over your shoes, that goo goes in between your toes. >Yuck!< Ask me how I know...

I had never heard of the brand before this review; but sure am glad that I have now.

Here's the fun part, the lovely folks at Dawgs Footwear have offered one of my readers a chance to win a pair of Ladies' Spirit Toners. Just enter by leaving a comment on this post or by "liking" Pary Moppins on FaceBook then enter the Rafflecopter below.

Good luck!  Congratulations to Amanda Corley!  Enjoy!
