Menu Plan - Pantry Challenge Week 7

This past weekend we held a Sunday School brunch at our house.  It was lovely to visit with those ladies outside of Sunday School.  The best part was that my only responsibility was to clean the house, make a breakfast casserole, and provide the coffee.  No problem.  ;)

I also helped with a frugal living class this week which is always fun.

Engineer is studying for his P.E. (Professional Engineer's) licence.  Oh will the endless piles of books, highlighters, and postie notes on my dining room table ever end?

I love February and March.  They are two months back to back where our schedules all seem to slow down a little and we can have more flexibility in our lives.  I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that Valentine's Day and our anniversary fall in those two months.  ;)

Here's what we will be eating this week:

Sunday - Stromboli & Salad
Monday - BBQ Sliders, Green Beans, Sweet Potato Fries
Tuesday - Steak, Baked Cream Corn, Braised Radishes, Peaches & Cream Pie
Wednesday - Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Greens, Purple Hull Peas, & Cornbread
Thursday - Sausage & Applekraut
Friday - Date Night - Penne w/Prosciutto & Peas and Salad
Saturday - Leftovers

This is part of Menu Plan Monday.

  1. I was reading this and trying to decided if there are any months I could consider "slow down" months. Hhhmmmm.... maybe September when the schools are settled back in school, but before all the sports and clubs get started? Maybe.

    1. September is not too bad for us either but February and March are definitely the quietest months.
