Menu Plan Monday

I trust everyone had a restful Thanksgiving and fell into a tryptophanic coma which mentally recharged you to hit all of those Black Friday deals!

We sang Christmas carols as the hymns in church yesterday.  I love Christmas carols and so look forward to the time when they are sung as part of our service.  We also had our annual "Hanging of the Green" service at church.  I love this quiet service where we sing more Christmas carols and reflect upon the symbols of Christmas and of course, hang the evergreen wreaths on the building.  It doesn't hurt that we serve cookies and coffee afterwards.  ;)

That's the way the week began but the week will end on a similarly high note with a cooking demonstration from Chef Ben Ferguson and some of my foodie girlfriends.

In between there is all manner of this and that.

Here is what we will be eating this week:

Monday - Beef Stew & Cornbread
Tuesday - Baked Potatoes, Creamed Spinach, & Roasted Squash
Wednesday - Pizza and Salad
Thursday - Spaghetti w/Homemade Sauce & Salad
Friday - Date Night

Make sure you enter the Carmex give away!

This is part of Organizing Junkie's Menu Plan Monday.

  1. I can't wait til it is stew weather for us here in AZ. We are in the mid 70s this week.

  2. Howdy Ms. Jennifer! Mid-70s sounds sublime as I sit here in my Snuggie curled up in a chair with my hands cupping my coffee mug. Our weather is so unpredictable that it could be back in the 70s later in the week. Who knows? :)
