Menu Plan Monday

Four out of six of us Supper Club ladies with The Hunky Cowboy Grady Spears at a cooking demonstration

As you well know, I believe that food nourishes both the body and the soul and this week, we had the opportunity to serve in pretty significant ways.  We had quite a few guests for coffee or for snacks or for supper.  Some were planned, some were not so planned, but all so very wanted and welcome.  I was just pleased we had food ready to dish up at a moment's notice.  Thank you Lord for freezers!

This past weekend we got together with our Supper Club and it was fabulous as per usual.  We each made Grady Spears recipes.  Team Moppins' contribution was a Dr. Pepper cake which was a new one on me.  Everyone loved it - except me.  Sorry Hunky, uh,...I mean Grady, it just wasn't my favorite chocolate cake recipe ever; but if it's any consolation, your Black Bean and Corn Salad recipe was awesome!

This is my ridiculously crazy week so I would like everything to be nice and simple for supper please.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Monday - Sausage & Pancakes
Tuesday - Mushroom Risotto and Arugula Salad
Wednesday - Comfort Food  - depends on what we cook for lunch - maybe a stew
Thursday - Jambalaya, Greens, & Cornbread
Friday - Date Night

This is part of Menu Plan Monday over at Organizing Junkie.
