Madly In Love Monday

Real estate is in my blood.  As a child I have many memories of looking through properties with my immediate and extended family.  It just was something we did and I guess, I figured everyone else did too.

Engineer had a very different upbringing and looking through houses didn't interest him for the longest time.  His reasoning was why would you look at houses if you weren't planning on buying them?  He's coming around though.  :)

I understand that logic but I also know that I am powerless against the siren song of an open house.

Even though Engineer may not understand my wanton lust obsession enjoyment of viewing real estate, never has he tried to extinguish this part of my personality.  Neither has he complained when my family asks him to come along for a showing - even when it has involved him army crawling through dirt under houses to check for foundation issues.

I am madly in love with my Engineer because of his same role in life and viewing houses; I can see past the obvious and find the potential while he is the one who makes sure that there is a strong structure and foundation.
