Menu Plan Monday

Whew!  We made it through last week mostly unscathed...mostly.  Engineer said on Wednesday, "This is the week that never ends!"  Yes, yes it was.

One of the highlights was that we were able to surprise one of my oldest friends on her birthday by meeting up with her and some other friends at Los Pinos Vineyards.   We had a great time in a great venue listening to some great music.   It was a nice way to unwind after a crazy week.  But it didn't stop there...

On Saturday, our Sunday School class hosted our first ever Whodunnit? mystery dinner fundraiser.  It was a smash!  Yea!  I love it when plan comes together.

Sunday we had activity after activity.  Sheesh!  Day of rest?

This week will hopefully get back to normal.  Although, our dog Truffles is going in for surgery on a mammary chain mass and that's not really starting off the week with a sense of normalcy.

We're still eating from the freezer and hopeful that the bag limit of 4 deer will be realized this season and my freezer will be stocked with enough meat to last us a year...as long as no one gets a hankering for chicken.  ;)

Monday - Baked Potato Soup (didn't have this last week so we'll try again)
Tuesday - Tin Foil Dinners
Wednesday - Chicken Nuggets, Fries, and Mixed Vegetables (didn't have this last week so we will try again)
Thursday - Mixed Salads (Green, Tabbouleh, Rice, Fruit, Potato, etc.)
Friday - Date Night

This is part of Organizing Junkie's Menu Plan Monday.

  1. Your menu looks great! So what are your tin foil dinners? They sound easy, are they?

BTW, I absolutely love the name of your blog!

  2. I'm glad you like the name of the blog Ms. Penny and yes, the Tin Foil Dinners are stupendously simple. There is a recipe here: http://www.parymoppins.net/2011/06/whats-cooking-i-heart-lawrys-special.html
I hope you enjoy! Thanks for stopping in!
