Menu Plan Monday

Jury duty was hilarious last week.  I only want to be on juries like that from now on.  It was like being in an episode of "My Name is Earl."

Last night we celebrated our 12th anniversary by being served a dinner that was planned by our nine year old.  That's our girl!  She knows the way to her Momma's and Daddy's hearts - food!

We were invited over to Operina's house to hang out and play the game Pass the Pile.  She described it as a cross between Pictionary and Telephone and that is pretty accurate.  It was really fun and made me think I need to write a little something about games your whole family can play together.

I had the pleasure of being involved with the World Day of Reading at the Boys & Girls Club this past week as well.  The kiddos listened to Fancy Nancy, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, The Gruffalo, and a little snippet of A Light in the Attic.  It's amazing how quiet a room full of "big" kids can get when they are listening to someone read.

Thank you to all who entered the Purex give away.  The winners are:
