Menu Ideas From the Brookshire's Ad

I haven't done any menu ideas from the ad in a while.  This week is a really good one, not necessarily for stocking up, but for cooking inexpensive meals for the week.

This is what I have come up with:

Chicken Gumbo over Rice:
Buy Chicken Leg Quarters (use 1 or 2), Food Club Rice, Onions, & Pictsweet frozen gumbo vegetables

Pork Chops, Ranch Style Beans, & Roasted Potatoes and Onions:
Buy Pork Chops, Beans x 2, Red Potatoes, use Onions from above

Beans & Rice:
Buy dry beans use the rest of the rice from above

BBQ Chicken Leg Quarters, Pork & Beans, & Green Beans
Use rest of chicken from above, buy beans x 2, & green beans x 2

Breakfast for Supper Bacon, Steam-Fried Potatoes, and Toast
Buy bacon, use rest of potatoes from above, & B1G1 bread

Sausage Sandwiches with Peas & Corn
Buy sausage, use bread from above, buy peas x 2 & corn x 2

Chicken Tacos w/Refried Beans & Mexican Rice
Buy chicken, taco shells, guacamole, beans x 2, & rice

Everything here will cost you around $35ish.  Add a couple of bags of salad and some cheese and you've got the week sorted!  Also, a lot of these meals you could make ahead and freeze either as whole meals or meal components.
