"Well, Will You Do Me a Favor Then?..."

"Can you bring me my chapstick?..." (*What movie is that from?) Or in this case, can you bring me my Carmex?

This is what I got in the mail from the makers of one of my favorite products of all time:

Isn't it cute?  It's a nice little travel bag from Carmex and look what was inside:

3 x Squeeze Tubes of Carmex lip salve (original, cherry, & strawberry)
3 x Twist Tubes of Carmex Lip Balm (original, cherry, & strawberry)
3 x Sticks of Moisture Plus Carmex Lip Gloss (clear, peach, & pink)
2 x Pots of Carmex Lip Balm (original & cherry)
1 x Carmex Healing Lotion
1 x Carmex Healing Cream
1 x Carmex travel sized Lotion

That's right my lovelies.  Every single bright yellow product that Carmex makes was tucked neatly inside the pockets of the travel bag (which has a built in hanger and mirror.)  By the way, this travel bag may replace my Ziploc bags as our ready-packed bag for traveling.  It's a lot easier for Engineer to find.  :)

Do I even need to say how ecstatic I was to receive this in the mail?  I have been a Carmex fan ever since there was only one way to buy it:  in a pot.  I have tried all sorts of various lip balms, sticks, and salves and never have I found one that I liked equal to much less better than Carmex.

I always put salve on my lips at night and with Carmex, I can wake up in the morning and still feel it on my lips - not in a greasy gross way, but in a my lips are silky smooth way.

The whole purpose of the wonderful gift pack was for me to try out the new Healing Lotion & Healing Cream and to let the folks at Carmex know my thoughts.  As with all of the products that I have used from Carmex, I was not disappointed.

The cream is thicker than the lotion and both feel very luxurious.  I had a rough patch on my elbows and that healing cream did the trick - no more rough patch.  Both lotions have that distinctive Carmex smell but it is somehow tempered a bit.  I know that some folks don't like that smell and it might be a problem but for me, I equate it with positive results so I quite like the smell.  Both creams soaked into my skin well and didn't feel greasy.

(As a side note, I really like the new Moisture Plus lip glosses too.  They feel so nice on your lips and give you a slight hint of color.  Perfect for me since I don't like to wear make-up and it just gives my lips a little tint.)

Carmex has very generously offered to give one of my readers the very same gift pack that they sent me!  Go ahead, scroll back up to look at all of the cool goodies that will come to you in the mail from Carmex...I'll wait here...are you back now?  Great. *The giveaway has ended.

Here's what you do:

1.  Become a follower of Pary Moppins Perfectly Practical by Friday, November 12th
2.  Check back next Sunday to see whose name Diva drew out of a fabulous hat

That's all folks so now all there is to do is to "Just make yourself a dang quesa-dilluh!"
Did you figure out from what movie the quotes are taken?  Are you in the mood for a quesa-dilluh now?

*My review is my personal opinion.  I was sent products to review for participating.  Like I said before, I really like Carmex products so I would have been very hard on them if they made a product that was inferior to the others in their line.  :)

  3. I'm a follower, too. Carmex is the only thing that works when I get a cold sore, but I use it every day, instead of lipstick. One in my purse, one in my dresser....
