Menu Plan Monday 3/22

This week we have guests coming over, the tile man is finishing our shower (hallelujah!) and it's a getting-everything-back-to-a-pre-Spring-Break-state week.

Monday - Tacos, Rice, Beans
Tuesday - Happy Housewife's Pink Pasta & Salad
Wednesday - Leftover Roast Venison, Roast Potatoes, and Green Beans
Thursday - Shepherd's Pie (the REAL Shepherd's Pie made from lamb mince not the American version made with beef - that's what the English call Cottage Pie) with Broccoli and Roasted Pumpkin & Onions
Friday - Goat Cheese Soufflés on Arugula Salad, Onion Tarte Tartin, and Ratatouille (I know we just had this last week but it is so darn tasty), Crusty Garlic Bread, and Pots de Crème

Just in case anyone is wondering how the Food Network recipes were from last week:
1.  the salmon did not go down well and that's in a houseful of salmon lovers
2.  the risotto was nothing special
3.  the pastina with peas and carrots was uber-yummy.

In fact, we had a little girl spending the night that night who, shall we say, has quite a eh-hem...discerning palate and even she said "Wow this is tasty!"  So if you are looking for a quick, easy, and very yummy supper, try Giada's pasta recipe here.
