Hot Sauce

If you have read any of my recipes by now, surely you know for the most part, I am a dumper.  I dump some of this and dump some of that and hope for the best.  Hot Sauce is one of the best examples of this highly scientific dumping technique that I employ. :)  The one ingredient that you cannot fudge on is the can of tomatoes.  It truly makes a huge difference if they are the super cheap value brand or a name brand.

Julie's Hot Sauce

1 can of tomatoes
1 can of Ro-Tel
1 handful of cilantro
Spoonful of pickled jalapenos (with a little juice)
Chipotle (seasoning, powder, or peppers in adobo)
1/4 of an onion
1 garlic clove
Lime Juice

Dump everything into your blender or food processor and whizz around until everything is chopped and mixed.  All items (with the exception of the tomatoes) are subject to taste.  Again, my very methodical scientific way of cooking requires me to have periodic taste tests; it's a dirty job but someone's got to do it.
